METHA8™ is an innovative clean energy technology venture focused on the development and commercialization of Aqueous Alkaline Reforming of Methanol (AARM) technology. Through a Convertible Agreement Regarding Equity (CARE) with MECIP, the collaboration aims to advance next-generation energy solutions that utilize methanol as a hydrogen carrier for efficient and sustainable power generation.

The AARM process converts methanol and water into hydrogen-rich gas through a catalytic reforming process. The generated hydrogen is then utilized by a Solid Oxide Fuel Cell (SOFC) system to produce clean and reliable electricity with high efficiency and reduced emissions. This innovative approach offers a practical pathway for decentralized power generation, energy security, and low-carbon energy deployment.
