New Wastewater Degasser System at Integrated Effluent Treatment System (IETS)of Gas Processing Plant

MECIP successfully delivered engineering services for the development of a Wastewater Degasser System at a major gas processing facility in Malaysia. The project was undertaken to improve wastewater treatment performance by removing dissolved and entrained gases prior to downstream processing and discharge, enhancing both operational efficiency and environmental compliance.
The Wastewater Degasser System was designed and integrated within an operating gas processing plant environment, requiring careful planning, multidisciplinary coordination, and adherence to stringent safety and operational requirements. The facility provides effective gas-liquid separation, reducing hydrocarbon carryover and supporting safer handling of wastewater streams generated from plant operations.
Leveraging its expertise in process, mechanical, piping, civil and structural engineering, electrical and instrumentation systems, MECIP delivered a comprehensive engineering solution that ensured seamless integration with existing plant facilities while minimizing operational disruption during implementation.
